NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

A Public Hearing will be held by the Dover Eyota St. Charles Area Sanitary District (DESCASD)
on the Wastewater Treatment Facility Plan Amendment dated May 2026 that is an Amendment to the Facility Plan dated January 2025. A copy of the Facility Plan and Amendment are available at the DESCASD office. DESCASD will receive comments and questions regarding the facility plan.
At a minimum, the following items will be discussed:
• Purpose and Scope of the Facility Plan
• Future effluent limits
• Projected wastewater flows and loadings
• Treatment alternatives considered
• Recommended alternative and reasons for selecting the alternative
• Estimated costs
• Estimated impact to sewer rates
• Location of the recommended project
• Schedule for implementing the project
